Only rooms open to visitors may be used for events at the Villa. Rooms closed to visitors (e.g. upstairs exhibition rooms) may not be used during the event.
No noise, disturbance of the peace and quiet of neighbouring residents, disturbance of other visitors' entertainment or other activities inappropriate for the Villa are permitted throughout the Villa. Artworks may not be approached by more than 30 centimetres.

A video camera surveillance and recording system is in operation throughout the Villa, and the images are stored in the manner and for the period specified by law.

Carrying small children of any age on the neck or back is not permitted for safety reasons.

Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

On non-traditional opening days, the last tickets can be purchased at 17:00, and visitors will be informed of the closing time by the hall guards at 17:45. Please leave the exhibition halls 10 minutes before the Villa closes to allow sufficient time to collect your valuables from the cloakroom. The Villa gardens are not open after dark!

Any visitor who violates these rules may, after a warning, be expelled from the building for a specified period of time or permanently, or may be subject to legal proceedings. Any damage resulting from a breach of the rules will be the responsibility of the person who has breached the rules (or who is responsible for the breach). Where the breach of the rules also constitutes a breach of the law, the person who has breached the rules (or who is responsible for the person who has breached the rules) shall be liable for any legal liability and shall be subject to any legal sanctions.

It is in our common interest that the rules are respected, and we ask our visitors for their help in this.
